HCG Diet P2 Weight Loss Cooking Tips. Volume One: Chicken

Staying true to the HCG diet on P2 can be challenging due to the limited food choices and minimal caloric intake.  The hcg actually curbs the majority of hunger pangs due to the low calorie diet of 500 calories but many dieters complain that “If I have to eat one more plain grilled chicken breast I’ll……., well, I’ll just SCREAM!  So, I was inspired to share some of my favorites cooking techniques in this series of articles.  Fat free cooking can be delicious!

Chicken Cooking Tips

Arm yourself with some amazing, healthy fresh herbs and dried spices.

Saute the chicken in chicken broth until it starts to brown.  Then add a little water to create a more intensely flavored sauce.

Coat the chicken with Melba toast crumbs and spices and bake until done.

Add the chicken to fat free chicken broth, allowed vegetable, and spices to make flavorful soups.

Marinate your chicken in lemon juice and herbs prior to cooking.

Combine chicken with allowed vegetables and spices, wrap in foil and barbeque

Allow the liquid in the pan to evaporate and turn brown.  Then “deglaze” the pan with a little more water or broth to create a flavorful caramelized sauce.

Add a touch of sweetness by adding a little stevia to sauces and soups.

Enjoy topping or sauteing chicken with garlic and fresh chopped herbs and a squeeze of lemon

I swear folks… this diet doesn’t have to be boring.

Want results? Don’t put it off till tomorrow, get it done today.

How many times have you asked someone to do something and they have responded, “Not now, later.” This is an attitude that way to many of us have developed over our lives. I found a funny quote that I like to use to illustrate this point. “I have decided to stop procrastinating! Tomorrow that is.” Why put off till tomorrow what you can start accomplishing today. Have you ever heard a financial expert say that you don’t have to start saving for retirement until you are 60? Have you ever heard a doctor say “Wait till you have a heart attack, until then be as unhealthy as you like.”. A school teacher recommend that you don’t study until the hour before the test. The answer is an emphatic NO! Of course you have never heard these things, just reading them is ridiculous. If someone ever told you that you would think they are crazy.

Why then, when we are given,  advice to act today do we scoff at them as being unrealistic, or too optimistic, or we just say “That is good for them, bu I am OK”. The answer is that we have been so trained to procrastinate that it is a part of us. We always say we can do it tomorrow, but when does that tomorrow actually come?

So I put forth the bold idea that we act today. Stop waiting for the magic bullet to come along, stop wasting time and start acting. It is not going to be easy at first. No one has ever said change is easy. What is said, is that it is worth it. The effort to change, will change you for the better. Don’t wait one more day to lose those unwanted extra pounds. Start acting on it today. Your body is the one thing that you will carry with you your whole life, take care of it.

I promise each and every one of you that is reading this that you will never regret getting up and acting. You will never say I am unhappy that I made a change in my life. I want you to succeed, I want you to feel good about yourself. If you need help because you just don’t know where to start, ask for it. There are those around us that are there to help. If you don’t have someone there, then join a group online or at your local gym. You are taking the first steps by being here reading this right now. Do you feel that tingle of electricity at the base of your neck. That is the feeling of excitement you get when you make change. Make that last, stay excited, stay motivated, keep acting and refuse to give up.

My Extreme HCG can help you reach those goals. With it many have lost 1-2 pounds of weight a day. You can lose 20 pounds in one months time. This is the kick-start that you need to make change so don’t wait, act today and start owning your future!

How does hCG work? A must read!

If you use the hCG diet with hCG oral drops you can lose 1-2 pounds of fat a day. Many people I have shared that fact with have asked me “How does hCG actually work?”. They can not believe that something so easy to use, can have such a drastic effect on body fat. The truth is thousands of people have lost weight with hCG drops and the scales don’t lie. hCG works in conjunction with the hCG diet to free up stored and hard to burn body fat in the body by stimulating the hypothalamus. So although the hCG diet is only 500 calories a day, you are actually burning thousands of calories every day! This is the part of it that is the key to your success!

Holiday Eating Tips

TRADITIONAL DISH: Gravy made from pan drippings.

ALTERNATIVE: Gravy made from a low-fat broth. Why douse turkey and fixings with extra calories? A light au jus will provide flavor and a little extra moisture to the bird.

TRADITIONAL DISH: Cheese and buttery crackers platter.

ALTERNATIVE: Fresh vegetables and a light dip. The recommended daily serving of cheese is one ounce. People tend to graze on Thanksgiving eating much more than an ounce of cheese. Plus, they’re pairing the cheese with fattening crackers. Instead, offer sliced vegetables and a dip made of low-fat sour cream. If crackers are served, choose whole grain varieties.

Fight the Thanksgiving Day Bulge

Every Year families and friends gather around the table to celebrate and give thanks for the bounty of the year. They also tend to consume 3,000 to 4,500 calories per person. Should giving thanks be about gluttony? Many people are interested in lower-fat, lower-calorie options for Thanksgiving meals that don’t take away from the traditions  of the holiday. It’s possible to cook and serve foods that are healthier and offer the spirit of Thanksgiving. Let’s examine traditional fare and some alternatives that are healthier.

Traditional: Turkey and stuffing.

Alternative:Turkey that has been roasted or cooked on a rotisserie so that the excess fat drips off. Turkey itself tends to be lean. Avoid basting the turkey with butter and remove the skin upon serving. Do not stuff the turkey with bread dressing, which tends to be fat-laden. Also, from a food safety standpoint, a raw turkey could infuse salmonella or other bacteria into the stuffing during cooking.

Every day we will update the blog with new tips and pointers for you this holiday season.
